Please note that our next courses start on August 13, 2012 for the Annual 12 Day Intensive Option, on October 6/7 for the weekend modules option and on 8 October for the midweeks option. 
As we only work with small groups (maximum 8) it is advisable to make application as soon as possible. 

The Delwyn School of Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis is the North Wales and Borders centre for the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences 

We deliver professional training in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis leading to a hypnotherapy qualification which is externally accredited and internationally recognised.
Our course options include weekend modules for those travelling more locally and special, intensive courses for international students and those within the UK, who find weekend modules inconvenient. 

We offer 3 options for achieving your hypnotherapy qualification:

1. The weekend modular option (10 Saturdays and Sundays monthly). Ideal for those able to travel daily or willing to make an overnight stay once a month. Dates for 2011 have not yet been arranged.

2. The Monday to Friday option (3 separate weeks at 2 monthly intervals). Ideal for those in the UK wanting an alternative to weekend modules or even for European students.

3. The intensive 12 day option. Probably the best option for students from other countries.

All options are complemented by home study and tutor support and each includes the same amount of total tutor and study hours.

     

Our courses in hypnotherapy take place in Wrexham in North Wales, which has quick and easy access from motorways and from Manchester and Liverpool airports. These courses have close proximity to the stunning mountain and coastal scenery of North Wales, with the added advantage of being either close to, or situated within, the city of Chester and only 40 minutes from Liverpool, 50 minutes from Manchester and less than 2 hours from Birmingham.

Potential students interested in practising clinical hypnosis in the UK or abroad will find that our training is useful practically and sound academically, covering all major approaches to hypnotherapy and the treatment with hypnosis of a wide range of conditions.

Our training takes place within the context of an actual hypnotherapy practice thus affording opportunities for the observation of treatment sessions with clients, skill practice with 'real' clients and the discussion of current, live cases.

Our tutor is a certified instructor of the National Guild of Hypnotists with a Certificate in Education, who also runs a busy Hypnotherapy Group Practice in North Wales, and all courses are tutored by qualified and practising hypnotherapists with teaching qualifications. Externally accredited by the UK National Council for Hypnotherapy, and covering the internationally recognised syllabus of the National Guild of Hypnotists, our hypnotherapy training leads to the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, a qualification based on the UK national standards, as well as the externally accredited Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis and also the NLP Practitioner Diploma as awarded by the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences.

Whereas potential students from North Wales, the Border Counties and North West areas of England might find the weekend modules the better option, those from other parts of the UK may find the Monday to Friday option more favourable and those from other countries will no doubt find the 13 day residential block course a splendid way of achieving an internationally recognised hypnotherapy qualification of such high standard.
